A horse racing competition was held at Palashbari in Gaibandha.

On Wednesday (January 11) afternoon, the horse race was held in a field in the Saindah vegetable market area of Hossainpur union of the upazila. Saindah Akbar Nagar Youth Club organized it. Thousands of people flock to see this rural traditional game.

Hossainpur UP Chairman Toufiqul Amin Mondal Titu inaugurated this competition. Apart from Palashbari upazila, 20 horses from neighboring districts participated in the competition. Later the prizes were distributed among the winners.
