Workers’ party leaders will be on the streets until the BNP’s declared demands for state repair are implemented.
BNP’s Central Labor Affairs Secretary AM Nazim Uddin made this announcement at the preparatory meeting in Chittagong tomorrow, Wednesday, on the success of BNP’s nationwide public housing program. This preparatory meeting was held at the party office in Nasiman Bhawan in the city today.
In the president’s speech, Labor Party leader Nazim Uddin said that the Labor Party had a historic role in all past movements including the liberation of the people, restoration of democracy. The labor party will remain on the streets until the implementation of the 10 points announced by the BNP and the 27 points of state repair, including the release of Khaleda Zia. Party leaders are ready to accept any sacrifice in the coming days.
Chittagong Divisional Labor Party Organizing Secretary Sofikur Rahman Majumdar was the chief guest at the meeting, convener of Chittagong Metropolitan Committee Dr. Shahadat Hossain. Abul Hashem Bakkar, Member Secretary of Metropolitan BNP, was the main speaker.
