Tinku Dey released from Bandarban prison On The occasion Of Victory Day-22
Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): Tingku Dey of Patia Upazila From Chittagong District was released from prison on the occasion of Great Victory Day-22.On special days prisoners are released for good behavior.He was released from Bandarban District Jail on Thursday (December 8) afternoon.Tinku Dey (30) is the son of Acacia De from Patia Halishahar area of Chittagong.He was released in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban and Wise District Magistrate Yasmin Parvin Tibriji.
Jail Superintendent Jannat ul Farhad said that in 2018,he was sentenced to 3 years hard labor and fined 5 thousand Tk for the crime of motorcycle theft.In default,The court ordered another 6 months imprisonment.In view of this,Tingku Dey came to Bandarban Jail on 29 December 2021.Later, after serving 1 year 9 months 17 days in prison with the permission of the higher authorities,he was released from prison today on December 8 at 4 pm on the occasion of Upcoming Great Victory Day-22.
In this regard,Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji said,On The State special days,the president of the jail of each district is asked to know whether there are inmates worth releasing considering the level of crime.Later, a proposal was sent from Bandarban to release the three.In continuation of this,Tingku Dey released from the Bandarban Prison For upcoming Victory Day-22.
Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji,District Jail Authority and Bandarban Press Club President Aminul Islam Baccu have given financial support to Released Prisoner Tingku Dey At The Time.
Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji,Jail Superintendent Jannat ul Farhad,Jailer Muhammad Jahedul Islam, Deputy Jailer Swapan Kumar Ghosh,Press Club President Aminul Islam Bachchu and print and electronic media journalists were present at the time.
It is known that on the occasion of Victory Day-22,the government is releasing 12 prisoners from all over the country under the power of Section 401 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
