BNP is trying to oust the ‘government’ through backdoors: Kader
General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader said that BNP has started the fire and terrorism in the country. The people of the country are in fear. They have fielded militants around the mass gathering. They executed the ban on dumping the bodies yesterday. Attacked the police. The media did not show the picture of the police lying on the road. They burnt the BRTC bus.
He said this in a joint meeting with the party secretariat, the president-general secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Awami League, the president-general secretary of all affiliated organizations and the mayors of Dhaka North and South City Corporation at the central office of Awami League at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
He said, the media will not show the picture of burning government vehicles – why is this mischief being done. Why is a part of the media taking sides? This is my complaint. Such a big gathering in Cox’s Bazar, the media did not show properly. We expect the media to show what they see. We call for the truth to emerge.
Obaidul Quader said, we will not allow the rally to be held by blocking the road. Tomorrow the gathering of Dhaka Metropolitan South will be held at Mahanagar Natyamanch. People cannot suffer.
Formesh comes from London. Mirza Fakhrul does it to save his job. Awami League leaders and workers will be on alert in all divisions, districts, upazilas, police stations and wards. We will not attack, but we will respond appropriately if attacked.
He said, our foreign friends will speak unilaterally, it is not diplomatic etiquette.
Obaidul Quader said that the BNP is trying to remove the government through conspiracy. It is our oath that we cannot hand over the country to communal forces.
We are the government party, we have to keep cool. Let us not be infamous as invaders
