lutfur rahman: In Bandarban,On the occasion of Prabarana Purnima and Kothin Cheebar Dan Festival of Buddhists,checks of grants received from the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund have been distributed to various Buddhist Viharas in the district.

This check was distributed last Sunday (27 November) Organized By Bandarban District Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust.

Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Was present as the chief guest in the check distribution ceremony.

On the occasion of Prabarana Purnima and the difficult Chibardan festival of Buddist Hills Minister Bir Bahadur distributed a check of 15 lakh Taka to the responsible Official Person’s of 85 Buddhist Viharas of the district on behalf of the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund.

The check distribution ceremony was presided over by Hlathowai Hri Marma Trustee of Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust (Bandarban District).This check distribution was held at the Bandarban office of the Minister of Hills.

Thanchi Upazila Parishad Chairman Thowaihla Mong Marma,Roangchari Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Athui Mong Marma, Kuhalong Union Parishad Chairman Mongpu Marma and other Buddhist Viharas,
presidents and general secretaries were present at the event.
