Staff Reporter:  A preparatory meeting was held at Kumarkhali in Kushtia on Monday at 10 am to formulate a program to celebrate the Great Victory Day. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer (Acting) Md. Shahidul Islam.

Speaking at the event, Heroic freedom fighter Chand Ali, ATM Abul Mansoor Majnu, Mosaddek Hossain, Abu-Bakar Siddique, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md Saidur Rahman, Municipal Councilor SM Rafiq, Public Library General Secretary Mumtaz Begum, Social Service Officer Mohammad ALi, Inspector (Investigation) of Kumarkhali Police Station. Tapas Kumar Pal, Journalist Zaker ALi Shuva etc.

In the meeting, it was announced that various programs including national flag hoisting, cannon firing, wreath laying, rally, discussion meeting, cultural program, drawing of liberation war by students, essay competition, sports competition will be held to celebrate the Great Victory Day with due dignity.
