We must be ready to pay the blood debt: Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “The fight has started, people have fallen. Now by saving more energy we have to be ready to repay the debt of Nayan’s blood, Shaon’s blood, Rahim’s blood, Alim’s blood.’
He said, “People are not backward. What I saw at this old age in every gathering inspired me. Another liberation war has to be fought, and they (Awami League) have to be defeated through that liberation war.
He said these things at a discussion meeting at the National Press Club on Monday afternoon.
On the occasion of the 58th birthday of BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman, North Bengal and Bangladesh Student Forum organized this discussion meeting.
Addressing the Awami League, Mirza Fakhrul said, “They have destroyed the entire politics and economy of Bangladesh today. If a nation had to be destroyed, its political structure, its economic structure had to be destroyed, that’s what they did.’
He said, ‘Nobody trusts Awami League. They don’t think of people as people, they think of them as burdens. They consider the country as their ancestral property. Loot as you can, no one can say anything. Will steal, no one can say anything. Will kill people, no one will be able to say anything.
Referring to the dollar crisis, he said, “It is written in the newspaper – you can’t open an LC now if you go to the bank. Because they don’t have dollars. Can’t pay dollars. They have looted the reserve money and looted so much, they themselves say – we have not chewed the reserve. You have not chewed the reserve; Swallowed, smuggled.
Fakhrul said, ‘We will protest, we will remove this government. After removing this government, we will form a national government with all the agitating parties. Then they (Awami League) have made this country a dustbin and sewer with all the people, it has to be done with everyone to clean it. We need to reform our justice system. The administrative system needs to be reformed. Administration should be organized. Education system should be reformed, health system should be reformed. A modern public welfare state should be built in the true sense.
Fakhrul said that a new case has been started against the senior leaders of BNP, which was acquitted, and said, “I would like to say with respect to the judiciary, please do justice. Because there are many proofs in this country. ‘Judge will judge you the people who woke up today’. So you won’t get through any of it.
Addressing the Awami League, he said, ‘I say it again and again, you have filed a case against our 3.5 million leaders and workers. Seven of our soldiers gave their lives. You must pay this price. There is still time to stand back. If not, the turbulent wave created by the people will sweep you away like a tsunami.
Under the chairmanship of the organization’s advisor Amirul Islam Khan Alim, BNP Standing Committee member Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP media cell member Quader Gani Chowdhury, former Chhatra Dal president Fazlur Rahman Khokon, former office secretary Abdus Sattar Patwari and others spoke. keep
