He came to join the Jubo League rally in Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital. A Jubo League leader named Jinnat Ali Haroon (45) fell ill and died.

On Friday (November 11) he fell ill at the rally ground and was taken to DMK Hospital. The doctor on duty there declared him dead.

Shafiqul Islam, who was with the deceased Jubo League leader, said that they came to Dhaka from Rajshahi on Friday morning. Harun (45), president of Bakshimail Union Jubo League of Mohanpur police station, fell ill suddenly while entering through the gate of Dhaka University. Later he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital Outpost Police Assistant Sub-Inspector confirmed the death. Masud said, when Harun fell ill, his colleagues brought him to the emergency department of DMK Hospital. Doctors on duty declared him dead after examination.
