Three Bangladeshi nationals were detained by BSF at Sunamganj border

Three Bangladeshi nationals were detained by the Indian border guarding force BSF while bringing smuggled coal.

Those arrested are Nazir Mia, son of Qadir Mia of Chanpur, border village of Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj, Jasim Mia, son of Samsuddin of the same village and Ashak Ali, son of deceased Hazrat Ali of neighboring Amtail village.

Yesterday Sunday afternoon, the patrol team of the Indian Rajai BSF camp arrested them from Nayachara in the Meghalaya hills inside India.

According to local sources, Nazir, Jasim and Ashok Ali were arrested by the patrol team of India’s Rajai BSF camp when they crossed the 1205 main pillar of Chanpur BOP of Sunamganj’s Chanpur BOP of 28- Border Guard Battalion Bangladesh (BGB) to fetch smuggled coal on Sunday afternoon.

Naib Subedar Nirmal Kumar Mohant, Camp Commander of Chanpur BOP, Tahirpur, Sunamganj, confirmed the truth of this matter in the evening.
