An allegation of rape of an 11-year-old child was received in Montail village of Lakhai upazila. A circle has tried to resolve the matter. Meanwhile, the child’s condition was alarming and he was admitted to Sadar Hospital. She is a 3rd class student of a primary school in the same area.

It is known that Farid Mia’s son Sohag Mia and Sahabuddin’s son Tofazzal of the same village took the child to the forest last Saturday night and escaped. The local leaders tried to cover up the matter. He was admitted to Sadar Hospital on Saturday.

OC Nunu Miah of Lakhai police station said that the matter is under investigation. Haven’t received a complaint yet. If found, action will be taken.
