Journalist Hossain was injured in the attack by miscreants in Moulvibazar
Daily Jugantar Moulvibazar Correspondent Hossain Ahmed was seriously injured in the attack by terrorists in Moulvibazar.
Yesterday Saturday (October 29) at 9 o’clock in the night, a group of unidentified terrorists attacked journalist Hossain Ahmed in front of Moulvibazar police outpost and post office in a car and three motorcycles. Meanwhile, Hossain Ahmed was seriously injured in the terrorist attack.
While undergoing treatment at Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital, Hossain Ahmad said that he was going to Paschimbazar to bring clothes from his office on a motorcycle. When he came in front of the city’s police outpost and post office, he was knocked down by a bicycle. Later, the terrorists took out weapons from a private car and attacked him. At one point, the terrorists ran away after injuring him. Later he was rescued by locals and brought to Moulvibazar 250 bed hospital. Moulvibazar Press Club Vice President Nurul Islam Sheful, Ashok Das, Press Club Editor Panna Dutta, Publicity and Publication Editor Salauddin Ibn Shihab, Eastern Editor Mojahid Ahmad, Dainik Navchetna District Representative Zakir Hossain and Press Club leaders went to the hospital to see the injured Hossain Ahmad.
In this regard, Hossain Ahmed has filed a complaint at Moulvibazar Model Police Station. Moulvibazar District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria said, I have heard the incident. Legal action will be taken after looking into the matter.
