Schoolgirl Juthika is the symbolic UNO for an hour in Kamalganj

Jutika Rani Kar, a class 8 schoolgirl, performed the duties of a symbolic Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) for an hour in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar.
She performed this duty in an event organized by ‘Reliant Women Development Organization (RWDO) and organized by Plan International Bangladesh as part of the ‘Girls Takeover’ program at the Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s office yesterday from 9 am to 10 am.
Juthika is a 8th grade student of Dayamoy Singh High School in Kamalganj Upazila and a child parliament member of Tilakpur NCTF. Jutika Pratiki performed this duty in the presence of Upazila Officer Sifat Uddin at the Upazila Executive Officer’s office. At this time, child marriage, women abuse and oppression and control of drugs were discussed.
Kamalganj Upazila Officer Sifat Uddin said, someday children will come to different big places in the society and the country, they will lead the society. Such programs will empower and empower adolescent, girl child or young women to take on leadership roles. He thanked the organizers for organizing such an event. So it is everyone’s responsibility to prepare the children for the country from a young age.

Jutika Rani Kar, who performed symbolic duty as UNO in this regard, said, I have been working with NCTF for a long time, but this kind of experience is new for me, I feel very proud to serve as a symbolic Upazila Nirbahi Officer for one hour. Pledge to work for participation of girls in leading positions of society. I want to get involved in some work that serves the country by studying well.
