A youth injured in a motorcycle accident died in a road accident in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar. Nazrul Islam (27), a motorcyclist, lost control of his motorcycle at Uzirpur on Birshrestha Shaheed Hamidur Rahman Road, Patrakhola, Madhavpur Union, on his way back from Bhanugach Bazar last Saturday night. Within moments, the motorcycle fell on the electricity pole. Nazrul, who was seriously injured in the incident, was rescued in a comatose state and first admitted to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital. When his condition deteriorated there, he was referred to Sylhet. She was taken to Sylhet Women’s Medical College Hospital where her condition deteriorated and she was put on life support. Even after 24 hours he did not regain consciousness, doctors on duty advised to take Nazrul to Dhaka for better treatment. According to doctors, Nazrul Islam died on the way from Sylhet to Dhaka at around 2.30 am last Sunday night.

The deceased Nazrul is the son of Rajab Ali of Dhalaipar village of Madhavpur union.

Kamalganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Abdur Razzak said that no one has informed them about this, but they are looking into the matter.
