Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): Bandarban district BNP has made extensive preparations with the aim of making Chittagong’s divisional convention a success.On this occasion, a preparatory meeting was held on Thursday (October 6) in the presence of central BNP leaders.

BNP National Executive Committee Vice Chairman Md.Shahajahan was present as the chief guest in the meeting organized by district BNP.Bandarban District BNP President, former MP Mrs. Mya Ma Ching presided over the event.

BNP’s Organizing Secretary (Chittagong Division) Mahbub Rahman Shamim gave a speech as the main speaker.Central BNP leader Belal Ahmed was present as a special guest in the meeting.

Besides,District women’s party president Kazi Nirutaj Begum,Bnp Leader Ritol Biswas,Former District Youth Leader Shadat Hossen Johny,Bandarban Municipality Youth Party President Arif Chy and a large number of leaders and activists were present in the preparatory meeting.

Upazila leaders were also present in the preparatory meeting held at the auditorium of Hotel Royal under the overall supervision of Bandarban District BNP General Secretary Javed Reza.

It should be noted that BNP has been agitating for a long time demanding the unconditional release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia,increase in commodity prices,corruption and misrule,extrajudicial killings and killings of leaders and activists and a non-partisan neutral government during elections.

As a part of this,the central BNP has called this rally to demand demands in every divisional town.As a part of this, preparatory meetings are being held in the districts to make the Chittagong divisional assembly on 12 October a success.
