In Shaistaganj, some of his colleagues have started running around to stop the news published about the various misdeeds of Mithun Das, Senior Assistant Railway Engineer (IWO). Even tried to manage journalists.

Meanwhile, more stories of his misdeeds are coming out in the search. The slaughter ground built in the memory of the freedom fighters on the west side at Shaistaganj Daudnagar railway gate has now been occupied by the slum dwellers under his leadership. A group of people are carrying out various misdeeds by building businesses and houses on rent from him without documents. Besides, it has been alleged that various anti-social activities including alcohol and ganja are going on. A few years ago the abattoir was fenced with barbed wire. But after a few days, the slum dwellers are leaving the excrement here by uprooting the katatar and pillars. A brave freedom fighter said that in 1971, when more than half a hundred freedom fighters were martyred by the Pakistan army, mass graves were given here. Henceforth the slaughterhouse was named. But encroachment of slums and anti-social activities will never be tolerated. They also said that they will prepare for various programs.

Some of the slum dwellers said, (IDW) Mithun Das leased them this place for a few years for some money. They have been doing business and living there by building chapta houses. However, they said that they do not know who removed the fence of the slaughterhouse.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Najratun Naeem said that the news about railway corruption has come to our attention. Moreover, if someone commits misdemeanors by occupying the slaughterhouse, action will be taken against them through an on-site investigation. No one will be exempted.
