Nazrul Islam, Joypurhat: Miscreants strangled a housewife here in Joypurhat town on September 27. Police recovered the body of the housewife from Janiyarbagan area of ​​the city on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Sajeda Islam Saju (37), the wife of Hafizul Islam of Aymarsulpur village of Panchbibi upazila of Sajeda Islam district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Joypurhat Sadar Police Station Sirajul Islam said Sajeda Islam lived in a rented house in Janiyar Bagan area of ​​Saju town. In the afternoon, her younger daughter Arifa came home after her SSC examination and found her mother’s body with her hands, feet and face tied and informed the police. Later the police came and recovered the body and sent it to Joypurhat Modern District Hospital. An investigation is being conducted as to why he was strangled to death. The police will reveal the mystery of this murder only after the investigation. Information is being collected to solve the murder mystery.
