General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader said that the global crisis is not only in Bangladesh but in the whole world, BNP is lying about it to gain political advantage.

He said this at a discussion meeting organized by Jubo League on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s birthday at Krishibid Institute auditorium in the capital on Tuesday.

Asking the BNP leaders, Obaidur Quader said, Russia-Ukraine war caused fuel oil and electricity crisis all over the world, but if BNP was in power today, what would happen to the country? Would the country be better?

Referring to the name of Sheikh Hasina, the most honest, competent and courageous leader in Bangladesh after 75, Obaidul Quader said, Bangabandhu’s daughter does not do politics for her own fortune and happiness, Sheikh Hasina does politics to change the fate of people, to realize the dreams of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Mujib.

Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash presided over the discussion meeting, Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil and prominent journalist Ajoy Das Gupta spoke.
