Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader commented that BNP has indulged in the evil game of gathering the movement by throwing dead bodies.

He said this while addressing the chief guest at the tri-annual conference of Gaibandha District Awami League on Saturday (September 24). Obaidul Quader joined the conference virtually from his residence.

Mentioning that the people of the country can see the development and achievements of Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader said that because BNP leaders wear dark glasses, they can see the darkness of the night in the light of day, that is why BNP does not see any development and achievements of Sheikh Hasina.

In response to the statement of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the general secretary of Awami League said that for the last 14 years, the farewell siren of the government has been ringing in the ears of the BNP Secretary General and not in the ears of the people.

Obaidul Quader said that the committee should give importance to the leaders and workers of the party in difficult times, stating that the cuckoos of Basant will not be in difficult times. The door of Awami League is always open for any educated people who believe in liberation war and democracy.

Emphasizing on party leaders and workers learning discipline, he said, the leader of all of us is Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, and we are all her workers.

He once again told the activists that if Bangladesh is to be saved, Awami League must be saved. To save the liberation war and democracy, Awami League must be saved.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for speaking on behalf of world humanity and human civilization at the United Nations.
