Sylhet Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (DC) Faisal Mahmood has been promoted to the post of Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police (Additional DIG).

This information was informed in a notification signed by Dhananjaya Kumar Das, Deputy Secretary of Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (September 21).

In this notification, including him, 4 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) have been promoted. They are Begum Taptun Nasreen of Dhaka Police Directorate, Jasmin Begum Special Police Administration of CID and DC Hamida Parveen of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
