Distribution of bicycles among small group students in Srimangal
Bicycles have been distributed among minority students in Srimangal of Mouravibazar.
On Saturday (September 10) in the morning at Srimangal Bhanugach Road Zilla Parishad Auditorium, distribution of education scholarships and bicycles was held under the program “Development Assistance for Special Areas (Except Chittagong Hill Tracts)” implemented by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Organized by Srimangal upazila administration and presided over by upazila executive officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun, upazila parishad chairman Bhanulal Roy was present as the chief guest.
Under the supervision of Secondary Education Officer Dilip Vardhan, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Haji Liton Ahmed, Women Vice Chairman Mitali Dutta, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sandeep Talukder, Officer-in-Charge Shamim Or Rasid Talukder, Srimangal Press Club President Biswajyeti Chowdhury, Srimangal Upazila Press Club Secretary Bikul were also present. Chakraborty, Janak Debvarma, the leader of small humanist group, along with teachers and students of various schools were present.
In the event, bicycles were distributed among 55 small minority girls, 150 students were given 2400 rupees, 70 students from 6th to 10th grade were given 6000 rupees, 30 female students from 11th to 12th grade were given 9600 rupees and a total of 10 lakh 68 thousand rupees were distributed among 250 students.
