Monthly welfare and crime meeting of Moulvibazar District Police has been held. A monthly welfare meeting was held at the Drill Shed of the District Police Lines on Monday (September 5) at 10:30 am.

Under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria and conducted by Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Ziaur Rahman, the monthly welfare meeting discussed various problems of policemen working in different police stations, outposts and units of the district police and their solutions.

A crime meeting was held in the conference room of the District Police Superintendent’s Office under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria and conducted by Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Sudarshan Kumar Roy. Important discussions were held on various issues including progress and intelligence activities of the district.
On this occasion, awards were given in various categories for the meritorious contribution of the policemen. In the light of the uniform criteria of the award, in the month of August 2022 Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station was selected as the best police station, SI (Retd) Teethankar Das of Srimangal Police Station and Mahbubul Alam of Sadar Model Police Station were selected as the best ASI of the district.
Also, Sadar Police Inspector (Investigation) Md. Moshiur Rahman was awarded for unraveling the mystery of the clueless murder case of Sadar Model Police Station and arresting the 3 accused involved.

District Superintendent of Police handed over crests and certificates of appreciation to the officers in charge and selected officers in various categories.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin & Finance) Hasan Mohammad Nacher Rikabder, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops) Sudarshan Kumar Roy, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Ziaur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Kulaura Circle) Sadek were also present in the two meetings. Kausar Dastgir, Assistant Superintendent of Police, (Srimangal Circle) Md. Shahidul Haque Munshi and officers in charge of various units and police stations of Moulvibazar District Police were present.
