RAB has arrested the suspect Mainul Islam (30) in connection with the gang-rape of a young woman at No. 2 pool farm house in Habiganj city.

He was arrested in front of Pansi restaurant in Srimangal town of Moulvibazar after an operation led by Lt. Commander Nahid Hasan, commander of RAB-9 Shaistaganj camp, on the basis of secret information on Friday (September 2) night.

He is the son of Noor Islam of Sankarsena village of Srimangal upazila. However, the main accused in this case, DB Police Writer Kawsar Mia (35) and the owner of the farm are still at large. Earlier on Monday morning, RAB arrested Raja Mia (30), son of deceased Kalu Mia, and Bachchu Mia (40), son of Abu Mia of the same area, from Poddarbari area of ​​Habiganj city. Police arrested another accused named Afzal.

Incidentally, on August 25, Afzal Miah took the second wife of Ghatak Salam of Usmanpur area of ​​Chunarughat upazila to give her a job in Pran Company. His house is in Umednagar area of ​​Habiganj city. He trapped the housewife in the farm house in Pool No. 2 area of ​​Habiganj town and gang-raped her there. The housewife was admitted to the Habiganj 250-bed modern district headquarters hospital at 9 a.m. the next day. The victim said that the owner raped her in the house of Pool Farm No. 2. Later police writer Kawsar. But without telling the name of the owner, he filed a case against 5 people. But another 2/3 are kept unidentified. Meanwhile, he demanded to bring the owner of the farm house and join him in the case.

RAB has already arrested three accused. Arrested Moinul Islam has been sent to jail.
