Two options open to Russian troops: Surrender or flee: Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the ongoing counteroffensive by Ukrainian forces. He claimed that the Ukrainian troops are making progress.
In a video message late Tuesday local time, Zelensky said they gave the Russian army two chances. They are to surrender or run away.
He also said that the Ukrainian troops are doing everything possible and impossible to get the terrible situation that the Russian troops have brought to Ukraine and the reaction of Ukraine.
The president of Ukraine also said that there is not a single safe place for them in the places that Russian troops have temporarily occupied from Crimea to Kharkiv.
He said in a threatening tone, all the warehouses, headquarters and equipment of the Russian troops in these places will be destroyed.
Zelensky then said, these are Ukrainian lands, the occupiers can do only two things: flee or surrender. We did not give them another chance.
