A young man named Shrikant Chandra Dev died after falling from the fifth floor roof while playing games on his mobile phone. The incident took place in Noahati area of ​​the city on Wednesday morning.

Deceased Shrikant Chandra Dev is the son of Nipendra Chandra Dev of that area. He is a Master’s student of Chittagong Government College.

On receiving the information, the body was recovered and sent to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital morgue for post-mortem, police said.

Shimul Chandra Dev, younger brother of the deceased, said that his brother was suffering from mental problems for some time. A relative had yellow on the roof of their house on Wednesday night. At the end of the yellow color, everyone goes back home. But Srikanth did not return home but sat on the roof playing games on his mobile phone. It is believed that he died after accidentally falling from the roof while playing games.

SI Wahed Gazi of Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station said that the cause of death will be known after receiving the post-mortem report.
