I will not respond to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Algir’s clear answer regarding Jamaat, a partner of the 20-party alliance.

Mirza Fakhrul said these things in response to questions from journalists at a press conference at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Monday (August 29).

When asked about this, he said, you can tell, you can ask. But I will not answer that. Just as it is your democratic right to ask, it is my democratic right not to answer. You can democratically say whatever you want, write no problem.

BNP Secretary General said that BNP’s program will continue till September 10 to protest against the rising prices of essential commodities including fuel oil. He said, our program has been running since August 22, this program has been extended. We have received an unprecedented response to the program. The ongoing program will continue till September 10 in those districts where it was not possible to hold the program in the upazila union mohalla.
