Teacher beaten up for protesting harassment of female students in Nabinagar

The incident happened on the way to his home on Friday night. The injured teacher was taken to Upazila Health Complex at night and the doctor referred him to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for better treatment.
In this incident, the teacher has filed a case against four people in the police station, making Rasel Mia (28), the son of Moti Mia of Narayanpur village, as the main accused.
According to sources, the accused miscreants have been harassing the madrasa students on their way to and from the school for a long time. Teacher Shamim Reza had been warning the detractors several times about the matter. As a result, on his way home from the market on Friday night, miscreants ambushed him with native weapons.
In this regard, the principal of Narayanpur DS Kamil Madrasa Rafiqul Islam said that a meeting of the managing committee was held on Saturday. They demanded that the crooks be quickly brought under the law.
Nabinagar police station OC Aminur Rashid said that a case has been registered in this incident. Legal action will be taken soon.
