Mahmudul Hasan, Pirganj (Rangpur): Under the initiative of Rangpur’s Pirganj Upazila Fisheries Department, under the Fisheries Development (2nd Amendment) Project in Rangpur Division in the financial year 2020-2021, a two-day fisheries training was held at Gulsha / Pabda with carp.

Dr. Sainar Alam, Deputy Director, Fisheries Department, Rangpur inaugurated the training in the hall room of the Upazila Agriculture Officer’s Office on Sunday.

Project Director of the project (Rangpur Division) Ataur Rahman Khan and Assistant Director Khaliduzzaman spoke on the first day of the training.

On the last day of the training, Assistant Director of the project Faisal Azam, Assistant Director Kazi Atiyah Tayeba and Rangpur District Fisheries Officer Barun Chandra Biswas addressed the training on Monday.

Senior Fisheries Officer of Pirganj Upazila and Coordinator of the training Aminul Islam provided training on fish farming under the overall management.

Field Assistant Fisheries Department Shahjahan Pradhan, Sumon Sarkar. 25 fish farmers of the upazila participated in the two-day training.
