District Level Press Conference on Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign-2020 in Thakurgaon

Thakurgaon Correspondent: The Department of Health has organized an orientation workshop for journalists at the district level on the occasion of the upcoming 6-week measles and rubella vaccination campaign-2020.

Civil Surgeon Dr Mahfuzar Rahman Sarkar presided over the workshop held at Thakurgaon Civil Surgeon Conference Hall on Wednesday afternoon.

During the workshop, a work plan was announced to vaccinate a total of 3,13,851 children under the age of 9 months to 10 years in 4,040 regular immunization centers of the district for a period of 6 weeks from 12 December 2020 to 24 January 2021.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Faruk Hossain, Medical Officer, Civil Surgeon’s Office, doctors and journalists from print and electronic media of the district.
