Satkhira Correspondent: Satkhira Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Debashish Choudhury has organized a public awareness program to prevent corona(covid-19) infection through an exceptional cycling procession with the message of developing normal functioning of the body and observing hygiene during coronation.
On Saturday morning, Satkhira Sadar Upazila along with various humanitarian organizations, journalists and youths in Satkhira Sadar Upazila Circuit House Mor, Bakchara, Parandaha, Nebakhali and other remote areas of the upazila to conduct public awareness activities to prevent corona(covid-19) infection.
He visited the house of a freedom fighter named Babar Ali in Parandha area and the construction work of Roichuddin’s house in Khanpur where the Prime Minister’s house was found through the news made by the journalists.
In this regard UNO Debashish Choudhury said, cycling is one of the aspects of preventing environmental pollution, increasing the immunity of the human body and staying physically healthy.There is no pair of cycling to keep the body and mind in balance.Due to the availability of information technology, people’s dependence on smartphones has become like an addiction at present.
Speaking of which, apart from messaging, there is no such thing that is not doing on a smartphone. Smartphones have become one of the few aspects of life.A recent study by psychiatrists found that smartphone addiction is disrupting mental health and making users mentally ill.Mobile addiction is especially prevalent among the youth.Young society is the future of the nation.
If we can make them healthy and strong, it will be good for the nation. However, educational institutions have been closed for a long time due to the corona virus.Students have been spending lazy time at home for a long time due to the closure of educational institutions.In this way, the students have become bored.
He said public awareness activities have been launched among the people in remote areas to prevent corona infection through cycling processions in different parts of the upazila in compliance with hygiene rules to alleviate the monotony of students.
