Health assistants work break In Pirganj
Mahmudul Hasan, Pirganj (Rangpur): Health inspectors and health assistants in Rangpur’s Pirganj have been on strike since last Thursday demanding redressal of pay inequality by amending the recruitment rules under the slogan “Contribution of Vaccine Hero Honored Health Assistants”.
They held a break in front of the Pirganj Upazila Health Complex, which was attended by more than half a hundred health assistants. Levlin etc.
In their speeches, the speakers said that the salaries of health inspectors, assistant health inspectors and health assistants will be upgraded from 16th to 11th, 12th and 13th grades respectively with the amendment of employment rules.
He said that their work would continue till the claim is implemented.
