Top police officials have called for humanitarian policing. However, the incident that took place in Rangpur violated the law and revealed the inhumanity of the police.
Publicly organized police beat up a journalist, his video footage has gone viral on social media, but the journalist community does not understand why it is taking so long to investigate.
Journalists are respectful of the law, so their investigation report will be prepared in the next 24 hours and presented to the nation and action will be taken against the guilty policemen. Otherwise, journalists across the country will be forced to protest.
