Tarikul Islam, Khulna: The 41st National Science and Technology Week, Science Fair and Science Olympiad Khulna District Closing and Award Ceremony was held at the Khulna Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Room on Thursday afternoon. Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleq was the chief guest on the occasion.

City Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleq, who was the chief guest, said that students need to develop science in mind. We need to create science awareness at all levels and harness the technological innovation of the younger generation. The current era of information technology. As a result of the spread of information technology, human life has become dynamic. The new generation needs to be made proficient in science and information technology.

The mayor further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the country is moving forward in all fields and Bangladesh is leading in every index. Our students are very talented. If you can give them different opportunities, they will move forward faster. The mayor called on teachers and parents to encourage students to study and do good deeds.

Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Helal Hossain presided over the function. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Ziaur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (LA) Md. Shahnaz Parveen, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Sadiqur Rahman Khan, President of Khulna Press Club SM Nazrul Islam, President of Journalists Union Md. Munshi Mahabub Alam Sohag, District Education Officer Kho. Ruhul Amin was present. The Khulna district administration organized the event.
