MP Murshedy inaugurates 4-storey building of self-study school in Rupsha

Tarikul Islam, Khulna: Khulna-4 MP Abdus Salam Murshedy said, I studied in this school. I played football on this field.  After being elected as a Member of Parliament, I saw that the condition of the field was very bad. Trenches in different places.  Boys and girls could not play sports in the rainy season.  I filled it with sand and raised it.
There was a big pond in front and I also filled it.  The 4-storey building of the centenary educational institution is being inaugurated.  He said this while laying the foundation stone of the four-storey Abdus Salam Murshedi Academic Building at the traditional Naihati Secondary School in Rupsha Upazila on Wednesday.
 He also said, “Not only this school, we have already given 20 crore TK to 5 madrasas in Terkhada,” he added.  Extensive funds have been allocated for school development.  No educational institution of the three upazilas including Rupsa will be neglected.  He said, “I will fulfill my dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the mother of humanity, Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s poverty-free Sonar Bangla.
 The function was presided over by Noman Osmani Richie, President of the School Management Committee and Chief Co-ordinator of the Member of Parliament and Performed by Rabiul Islam Palash Headmaster of the school.
 Director of Envoy Group Sarmin Salam, Rupsha Upazila Chairman Kamal Uddin Badsha, Upazila Executive Officer Nasrin Akter, District Education Officer Khandaker Ruhul Amin, Rupsha Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mollah Zakir Hossain, Terkhada Upazila Chairman Sheikh Shahidul Islam and former Chairman Sarfuddin Biswas Bachchu were present as special guests.
Earlier, he landed at Naihati school ground by helicopter at 10:30 am.  At that time, the party leaders and workers and well-wishers greeted him with flowers. He later distributed bicycles among students and sewing machines among women for self-employment.
