M Masud Karim Chaudhary, Chattogram: Shaykhul Hadith Allama Zainul Abedin Zubair, a member of Bangladesh Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat central presidium and a renowned Islamic scholar, said: Such racial persecution of Muslims in France is not isolated, but is a manifestation of their perpetually anti-Muslim attitude. They want to portray Muslims as a terrorist group in the world with the tag of separatist or militant. The French government’s temporary closure of mosques, police crackdowns on mosques, and, above all, the denial of any Islamist sleep in peace are direct human rights abuses. “Such a reaction from a civilized state would never be desirable,” he said, adding that such heinous acts would not only hurt Muslim sentiments, but also spread ethnic strife and violence around the world.
However, such insults to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) have not stopped the bleeding of the hearts of Muslims. He strongly condemned such atrocities and called on the Muslim world to build a united front against France. He also called on all Muslim states to sever diplomatic ties, including the boycott of French goods. He also called upon the Bangladesh government to immediately intervene in the persecution of Muslims in France and called upon the Bangladesh government to play a responsible role against this anti-Muslim activities in France through diplomatic activities.
He further said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was the bearer of the establishment of a healthy, beautiful, stable and humane society through the liberation of the people who were burnt by the dictatorship of the tribal rule, exploited by the handful of the rich and impoverished by social evils. He was forced to leave his homeland and migrate to Medina due to the persecution of his own people for preaching the message of Tawheed in order to realize the rights of the deprived people.
He then established an independent nation and sovereign republic in Medina with Jews, pagans, Christians and Muslims by drafting the historic Medina Charter. Islam does not support any kind of satire on other religions. Where unwanted communalism is absolutely abandoned. Because Allah Almighty has sent the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) for the welfare of the world irrespective of race, religion, caste, tribe, community. Therefore, let the global Islamic renaissance be the main theme of this Eid Miladunnabi.
