Debhata Correspondent : Taslima Akhter has joined Debhata Upazila of Satkhira as a new Upazila Nirbahi Officer. Last Thursday (October 22) she officially took over the responsibility from former Upazila Executive Officer(UNO) Sajia Afrin.While taking charge, the administrative officials greeted him with flowers.He joined the Satkhira district administration office on October 18 as the Debhata Upazila Executive Officer.Earlier, he was working as a land acquisition officer in Jhenaidah Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
As per the notification of the Field Administration-2 Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration, the office of the Divisional Commissioner was shifted to Khulna in view of his appointment as Upazila Nirbahi Officer.He was later posted as Upazila Nirbahi Officer in Debhar Upazila of Satkhira on 11 October.
Taslima Akter is an officer of the 31st BCS (Administration). In 2013, she started her career as an Executive Magistrate in the Jhenaidah Administration.
There, Nezarat and Revenue have served as Deputy Collectors and Land Acquisition Officers for 4 years with a reputation and in the 2014 national elections with a reputation. In February 2017, he was posted as Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Muhammadpur Upazila of Magura.Later he served as Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Maheshpur and Kotchandpur Upazilas of Jhenaidah. He served as the acting UNO in Kotchandpur Upazila for one month.He worked very responsibly as an executive magistrate in the national elections of 2018 and upazila elections of 2019.
Newcomer UNO Taslima Akter is the daughter of Muhammad Yunus Ali Khan of Chatia village in Borhanuddin upazila of Bhola district.During her student life, she obtained her master’s degree from Dhaka University in the academic year 2004-05 in the 2nd class from the philosophy department. In her married life, she is the mother of two daughters.
Newcomer Upazila Nirbahi Taslima Akhter said, “I am determined to make this upazila more prosperous with the cooperation of all. At the same time, I will continue my efforts to keep the people of the upazila affected by the Corona safe.”
