Arun Sarkar, Bureau Chief Sylhet : The ‘OC-UNO’ gave a reception to the drug dealer at Jaflong in Goainghat, Sylhet. Such shocking information came out after the picture of Tourist Police Officer-in-Charge OC Ratan Sheikh went viral through social media. Gowainghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmus Sakib and Thana Police OC Abdul Ahad handed over the award to the drug dealer at an anti-drug discussion meeting in the tourist area of Jaflong on Saturday. Then OC Abdul Ahad quickly left the stage with the help of cunning. Because there are allegations against her because she is the bride of many Raghab Boals and smuggled drug dealers in Jaflong.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmus Shakib was present as the chief guest at the meeting and OC Abdul Ahad was the keynote speaker. At the meeting chaired by the local chairman and the heroic freedom fighter Lebu chairman, the three first handed over the crest to drug lord Sheikh Rashed Alam Razzak. Then came the speculation. Apart from Officer-in-Charge of Tourist Police Ratan Sheikh, leaders and activists of 19 other organizations were also invited as special guests at the event. There, he took a picture with OC Ratan Sheikh using the same drug dealing tactics.
Meanwhile, the search revealed that they tried to keep the picture secret after handing over the crest of honor to Razzak, who was blessed by OC-UNO. At one point, the tourist police officer in charge tilted the incident. According to that, they conspired like this to survive. However, no reason has yet been found as to why Teleshmati Jajmiya has arranged the play.
Talking to Gowainghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmus Shakib on his mobile phone, he said he had no previous acquaintance with the OC or Razzak. They do not know him. However, the matter came to their notice after it went viral through social media. Ratan Sheikh, Officer-in-Charge of Enye Tourist Police, said he was present at the event as a special guest. Earlier, drug dealer Razzak received an honorary crest from Gowainghat Upazila OC-UNO. Later he took a picture with me. I didn’t know he was a drug dealer.
