Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed not to set up industrial factories here and there.
She also said that houses should not be built everywhere.
The PM said that according to the characteristics of the land, the type of installation that is being taken in the land is to be done that will provide all services for the industry in one place and other installations will also be environmentally friendly.
The premier gave these instructions at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) held on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over it as ECNEC Chairperson through video conferencing from Ganobhaban.
Planning Minister MA Mannan, Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak, Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Tajul Islam, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury and State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Faruk were present at the meeting.
The ECNEC approved a total of four projects involving an overall estimated cost of Taka 796.45 crore, including a Taka 337.60 crore project for mouza and plot-based national digital land zoning in a bid to ensure proper land management at the field-level.
